Full Moon in Cardinal Aries ~ Conjunct Uranus, the Rebel

Dearest Moonlings!

We are in the season of change.  The eclipses in September worked upon us in many varied ways – opening new doors, closing others, bringing about surprises, births, deaths, unions and separations.

Many of us have been pushed outside the box of our comfort zone.  Many of us are exhausted and just looking for some peace and quiet from all this noise, all this insanity, all these layers of challenging issues that we face as individuals and as a global community.

In October, the flavor of Fall is all around us; the daylight fading a little sooner, the air getting chillier, the wind blowing leaves and blowing our thoughts toward coffee shops and scarves and comfort food and warmth.

This year, we have the added anticipation of November’s U.S. presidential election.  Tensions are high, egos are ignited, nerves are shot and patience is thin.  We are faced with one of the most absurd political campaigns in history, and the voices calling for change are murmuring louder and louder, like a deep underground river that is rising and rising, preparing to dismantle every system of injustice.

This month’s Full Moon is exact on Saturday, October 15th, at 9:23 pm PDT.  La Luna reveals her fullness to us in the sign of Aries, the Ram.  The Sun in Libra is highlighting the area in our lives that really strives for balance and harmony, as well as beauty and connection.  Jupiter began his year-long journey in Libra on September 9th, and he is EXPANDING and supporting and enhancing that area of our lives because that is the generous nature of Jupiter.

Aries is Libra’s opposite, and he brings the attention back to the “self” and to accomplishment.  Aries is driven, masculine and a total powerhouse.  He is ruled by Mars, whereas Libra is ruled by Venus.  Aries is the pioneer, the leader, the fire-starter.  Libra seeks relationship, refinement and romance. As Cardinal signs, Libra and Aries are both generators, initiators, trend-setters and very ambitious.

Uranus (retrograde in Aries and conjunct the Full Moon) gives an added dimension of rebellion and wildness to this month’s astrology.  Uranus represents liberation, equality, and the higher mind.  Uranus has no problem using the power of destruction to “level the playing field.”  If it isn’t working well for the good of all, let’s break it apart and build it over again in a new way!  This is the mindset of Uranus.

Uranus remains retrograde in Aries until December 29th of this year, which is also the New Moon.  This feels like a very special introduction to 2017!

When the planet of transcendence and higher mind turns direct at 20° Aries, we might experience some closure or some continuing of things that were happening back in April of this year, when Uranus was last transiting through 20-21° Aries.  Pay attention to this part of your chart; which house does Aries rule for you, and do you have planets or significant aspects around 20° Aries?  You might be experiencing some monumental shifts in personal areas of your life, and we are bound to see this reflected in the larger landscape of global relations and leadership.

Aside from this Saturday’s Full Moon, we can look forward to Venus, the planet of beauty and pleasure, moving into Sagittarius for almost a month of frolicky fun!  Venus enters the sign of the Archer at 12:01 am PDT, this Tuesday October 18th. This is a lovely combination, as Jupiter is the ruler of adventurous Sag, and no one makes Venus shine brighter than the benevolent Jupiter.  The energies of Jupiter and Venus are quite harmonious and bestow good fortune.  Jupiter spending a year in Libra, who is ruled by Venus, is another, longer-term formation of the angelic Venus-Jupiter connection.

May the blessing of this Full Moon bestow you with the courage and the fortitude needed during times of change!  May you hold your loved ones close, and may you also hold your sweet self with compassion for this human journey.  May you allow your own consciousness to be the change so needed in the world.

Blessings and Light!

Namaste.

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, Baby…Ya Feel?

Hey, hey, hey Moonbabies….

Many technical delays have been happening in my world – thank you Mercury retrograde!

Nevertheless, I am called to share with you, even if it is after the fact.

goddess

The Full Moon in Pisces was exact today at 12:05 pm PDT, and the lunar eclipse was exact at 11:54 am PDT (24 degrees Pisces).

Full Moons are always intensifying, and when a lunar eclipse happens simultaneously (about twice a year), we have the opportunity to ride the waves of transformation with awareness and willingness.  We might even feel like we simply have no other choice: it is time to surrender.

The message Spirit has given me with this Moon is to stop, slow down and listen.  Talk less.  Listen and receive.  There is no need to spin any webs of fantasy, expectation or projection.  Notice what is.  Notice the likes and dislikes.  Notice the attractions and aversions.  Notice.

The quality and texture of our senses are valid and important and make up the truth of our current experience.  Inner knowing, gut feeling, intuition, dreams, emotions and physical response are all sacred.  All ways of knowing ourselves.

Pisces, the sign of mutable water, is all about feeling and intuition.  She is the ultimate empath.  She presides over dreams and subconscious desires.  As the universal ruler of the 12th house, she leads us through the passage of mystical transformation.  She is represented in her glyph as two fish swimming in opposite directions, much like a Yin/Yang symbol.

Pisces rules one of the twelve houses in your natal chart, and with an eclipse (lunar or solar), it is especially helpful to know where the full Moon or new Moon is happening for you personally.

For me, Pisces rules my 10th house of career, where my natal Moon dwells.  All I’m gonna say is — YUP!  I am experiencing major and transformative growth and change in my career.  It’s exciting – and I’m not striving and pushing and reaching for it.  The Universe is handing it to me like a beautiful baton – and every time I drop the baton or shy away from it, the Universe places it back firmly in my hand.

The Moon is the emotional self, the inner wisdom and our feminine nature (for both men and women).  The natal Moon speaks to your emotional needs, where you feel safe and where you are deeply connected to Source energy.

May you honor your natal Moon daily and nightly, not just with the full Moon or new Moon calling your awareness.

One of my great teachers often tells us to “Pause and feel….” after chanting a mantra together.

May we do this pausing and this feeling.  This listening.  This noticing.

Something very magical is happening underneath all the chatter of the mind.

Beyond the pressure of expectations and the bombardment of stimulation – we begin to notice our true nature.

May you know yourself as one with Great Spirit.

Sat Nam

Blessed Be.

Full Moon in Aquarius & Venus Kissing Jupiter in Virgo

Big Moon blessings, dear ones!

La Luna’s exact fullness happens this morning (August 18th) at 2:27 am PDT.  Tonight and tomorrow night are perfect for ritual and reflection.  Full Moon energy is opulent, and the positions of the rest of our neighboring planets becomes highlighted when we reach this point in the lunar cycle – for now begins the harvest.

The Sun in Leo with La Luna ripe in Aquarius makes for some interesting dynamics within astrology.  I like to tune in and get quiet ESPECIALLY at the New Moon and the Full Moon.  I’ve noticed that I’m often socializing more at the waxing and waning quarter Moons, when Luna is squaring the Sun.  Maybe that’s just me, but I encourage you to tune in with this Full Moon and see for yourself what the planets are telling you.

Full Moon in Aquarius is creative, quirky and rebellious.  Aquarius is the energy-bearer and the revolutionary.  He facilitates transformation. However, he is also a fixed sign (along with Taurus, Leo and Scorpio).  His determination and vision is kind of like the gold-medal athlete, if you will – because he is fully committed to the universal collective.  Aquarius is quite ego-less, in his essential nature.

The modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus, the planet of liberation, awakening and higher mind.  The energy of Uranus is constantly helping us dismantle that which no longer serves in order to pave the way for a new paradigm, which is being revealed as we enter the Aquarian Age. (Uranus is currently retrograde in Aries – he goes direct on 12/29/16 at 20 degrees Aries.  The specific energies of the outer planets are particularly helpful in looking at the world stage, as they are in each sign for a very long time, revealing larger mass influence)

The traditional ruler of Aquarius, however, is Saturn – also known as “the disciplinarian.”  Saturn provides structure and containment, rules and regulations, boundaries and limitations.  He is as practical as he is authoritarian.  He also provides real, tangible support. (Saturn is in Sagittarius, and Mars is preparing to meet him for their conjunction on 8/24/16 – my last new moon post goes in depth about their arrangement in the skies: New Moon in Leo and the Dance of Saturn and Mars )

The Aquarian Full Moon lies opposite the Leo Sun, each at 26 degrees in their respective signs.  While the inner (Moon) voice is telling us to create change for the good of all beings, the expressive (Sun) voice is saying shine on, shine on, shine on!  Share your gifts!  Tap into your talents and let them be seen.

On Venus:

The Venus/Jupiter conjunction is coming up on August 27th, while Luna is in her Crone phase.  Venus will meet Jupiter in 27 degrees Virgo at 3:30 pm PDT on that day.  Venus is debilitated in Virgo, but she is exalted by Jupiter all the same.  No other planet can showcase the beauty of Venus like Jupiter can.  You can catch both Venus and Jupiter setting in the Western horizon shortly after 9 pm PDT.

Venus and Jupiter have a beautiful affair in which they dance together roughly every 13 months, so they kind of loop over the signs.  They met up last summer on 8/4/15  at 22 degrees Leo, and after this conjunction they won’t meet again until 11/13/17 when Venus graces over Jupiter in 7 degrees Scorpio.

Venus remains in practical Virgo until August 29th, two days after her conjunction with the benevolent and expansive Jupiter.  On that day, Venus will drop into the gracious sign of Libra, her domicile.  Venus rules Libra and Taurus, but she is exalted in Pisces (who is ruled by Jupiter and Neptune).

Another thing to pay attention to is that between 8/12/16-8/25/16, Jupiter, Mercury and Venus in Virgo (and in that order) will take turns opposing Chiron (the wounded-warrior) in Pisces.  Chiron in our natal chart represents the wound that never heals.  The house and sign he dwells in will give you important information regarding the areas in life to focus on your own healing.  By discovering the places within us that need extra care, we are also discovering priceless keys to compassion toward others.

Virgo is no-nonsense, earthy practicality and meticulous intellect.  Her focus is health, wellness and daily routines.  Let Venus in Virgo and her expanded influence under Jupiter guide you in organizing your self-care right now.  If you can, locate where Virgo is in your natal chart to understand her influence upon your life.  This will expand your awareness of the upcoming Venus/Jupiter conjunction and make it applicable to your life!

As always, many blessings, with this Moon and always.

Life is short and so very precious, let us not waste the time we have been given here.

XO

Full Moon in Capricorn and Here Comes the Leo Sun!

Pregnant Luna reaches fullness on July 19th at 3:57 pm PDT in the steady and hardworking sign of Capricorn.

Her ripeness in Capricorn symbolizes the collective need to “get to work.”  What needs to be done?  This can mean finishing up lingering projects and crossing off the to-do list.  It can mean tuning in to your pragmatic side, the part of you that is willing to take things step-by-step as well as give things the final push.  It can also mean setting aside time to go within and look at the “bigger picture” of your existence.

If you believe in soul-contracts (agreements our souls make before taking birth), you might feel a sense of purpose bubbling up for you with this Full Moon.  You might even feel like your higher self is demanding that you show up and pay attention.  Old patterns and ways of being that don’t work are simply unsustainable now.  Capricorn is represented by the Goat, and she is concerned with functionality and practicality.  She is cardinal earth, which means she takes initiative to create grounded and tangible change.  She is here to weed out the behaviors and thought patterns that are stumbling blocks or traps.  She is high-functioning and helps us keep a steady pace on the path of life.  She is ruled by Saturn, the disciplinarian, which gives her major willpower and the ability to focus.

Luna’s exact fullness marks a void period until she enters Aquarius at 8:10 pm PDT.  The void Moon is a time to reflect, go within and listen.  Find the pause in the wheel of life; find perspective.

This Full Moon is also the celebration of Guru Purnima, a sacred festival originating from India and Nepal in which the teacher or guru is honored.  The Sanskrit word “guru” can be defined simply as “the darkness destroyer” (gu = darkness, ru = destroyer).  It is a great gift to experience a teacher who lights our path and brings us into greater awareness, understanding, respect and love.

It is beautiful to take some time with this Moon to offer thanks for those teachers and gurus who have guided us and supported us, who have challenged us and accepted us and loved us.  The true teacher is here to reflect the light within the student.  It is a blessing both ways.

During the Full Moon, the Sun lies directly opposite Luna.  The Sun is finishing up his stay in the waters of Cancer, and he is preparing to enter the domain of Leo this Friday (July 22nd) at 2:30 am PDT.

The Sun illuminates the house in your chart that is ruled by the sign in which he is traveling.  We all have the entire zodiac within us, in different ways.  Each sign represents an “aspect” of being.  Leo is all about self-expression.  He is noble, courageous and charming.  He can come across as ego-centric or even selfish when his energy is out of balance.  In truth, Leo understands that self-love and self-expression are key components of spreading joy in the world.

The Sun will be joining Venus and Mercury in Leo, who entered the Lion’s Den last week, setting the stage for the pinnacle of Summer.  Leo values art, romance, creativity, family, love and performance.  Leo can be indulgent, like the ripe Summer harvest.  So: the self (Sun), the mind (Mercury) and feminine love energy (Venus) are all in the Lion’s Den together again – and the sign of fixed fire is igniting everyone’s sense of self.  The ego can also get ignited under this fire sign, and when too many aggrandized egos start crowding a room – well, we all know it ain’t pretty.

Hop off the ego train and use the fire of Leo to light up your purpose and your path.

Your wellness, your brightness, your talent and your heart are much needed in the world.  This planet is in so much pain, so much confusion, and the wheel of karma is plowing forward at tremendous speed.  Can we respond with quiet kindness?  Can we offer the alchemy that is necessary to turn apathy into caring, hate into forgiveness and fear into love?

What we have considered “self” is the biggest lie that we have been feeding ourselves for centuries upon centuries.

Small self is a shadow of the truth of What Is.

When small self thinks it is in charge, it feeds the creation of a false paradigm in which many small selves are competing for attention and power.  This has manifested as a world full of conflict, poverty, violence, abuse, pain and disease.

However, the Universe is self-correcting.  She may just self-correct humans out of existence if we can’t get our act together.

On another note, as La Luna wanes from her fullness into Crone and back into the darkness of new beginnings, Mars will be retracing his steps in Scorpio back into Sagittarius.  He has regained his usual speed after stationing direct, so any mire we may have been feeling from June 19th – July 12th should be clearing up or at least MOVING in a new direction by now.  This can also speak to desires coming to fruition, romance taking off (or falling apart), and inner conflict sorting itself out.

Mars energy is HOT, and he is currently heating up the final degrees of Scorpio (again).  Scorpio encourages shadow work and deep exploration of emotions and our sensual/sexual nature.  Scorpio is anything but superficial and she doesn’t care about societal norms, which is why she is so often shrouded in mystery.

For those of you who are geeky like me, you might find it useful to know that from now until our next New Moon, Mars will be retracing the same territory he was in from:

May 27th – June 12th

February 22nd – March 7th

Mars energy is powerful, and this past Mars retrograde certainly threw me for a loop, so I wanted to share these dates for the sake of reflection.

Mars will re-enter Sagittarius on August 2nd on the day of the New Moon.

This is potent energy available to us, dear ones!

I wish you magickal transformation and radical self-love.

Full Moon, Litha and the Mutable Grand Cross

Blessings upon you, dear ones!

The Northern Hemisphere is celebrating Litha (aka Midsummer/Summer Solstice) and the rare occasion that the Full Moon falls upon it!  The last time we experienced this alignment of Litha and the Full Moon was in June of 1967, and we won’t experience such a close alignment again until June, 2062.

Litha is official when the Sun enters Cancer tomorrow at 3:34 pm PDT.  There is a going within as we turn from the external and inquisitive sign of Gemini into the very introverted sign of the Crab.  Cancer energy can be hard to understand or connect to unless you yourself have a clear understanding of Cancer in your personal astrology.  However, we can all relate to the pull to create a hard shell to protect the soft and succulent tenderness within us.  While we have the Sun in Cancer for the next 4 ½ weeks (and Venus in Cancer until July 11th), there is a supportive influence to honor our inner world, our home, our family and loved ones.  All water signs are direct channels for emotions, and Cancer sometimes has a reputation for passive aggressive behavior because of her need for safety and protection.  If emotions are leaking out without clear communication, we can feel muddy and stuck.  When we notice this in ourselves or others, we have the opportunity to remember how tender we all really are, back up, give space and honor the boundaries.

Along with the Solstice Full Moon, we are also experiencing the Mutable Grand Cross of Saturn in Sagittarius, Neptune in Pisces, Mercury in Gemini and Jupiter in Virgo.  Mutable means change.  The planets are reflecting the story of our human lives, both individual and collective.  We exist within the pattern, just as the pattern exists within us.  We are all formless, genderless, fearless souls – even as we walk in the body and identify ourselves and each other as this or that.  It is by exquisite chance that we even exist.  We are magical by very nature.  And we are here to do specific work.

Both Saturn and Neptune are retrograde at this time (the Neptune retrograde began recently ~ last Monday 6/13 at 1:43pm PDT).  Both Saturn and Neptune are going to stay in their respective signs (yay!).  They are currently making a tight square at 12° of Sagittarius and Pisces, and this can feel discordant and conflicting, but it can also bring us into balance with the spectrum of our human needs.

Saturn is structure, definition, rules and boundaries.  Saturn in your natal chart is where you might find yourself most challenged and where you have to work the hardest, but also where you experience the most growth and reward.  Saturn has a much lighter vibration in Sagittarius than he did in Scorpio, and most people I know are delighted that we will not experience the Scorpionic Saturn return for another 28 years – that was some gritty territory!  Neptune is dreams, creativity, fantasy and psychic awareness.  Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces, and Pisces is all about feeling, loving, forgiving and merging.  Saturn can appear to be raining on our party if we need a reality-check, if we need help with boundaries, or if we have been keeping our talents hidden from the world.  Neptune might look like the jerk who is making a mess of things if we are too attached to a certain way of being.  This can speak to releasing all pre-conditioned thinking as well as allowing movement to occur in our relationships, in our lifestyles and in our careers.

Neptune loves unconditionally.  Neptune retrograde wants us to review and reckon with the creative space that is the open heart.  Neptune is going to continue his backward motion until November 20th, so don’t be surprised if your heart feels like it’s being held open by external forces during this time.  Saturn will station direct on August 13th, at which point a certain clarity around the structures of home/career/relationships will be encouraged.

La Luna reaches exact fullness at 4:02 am PDT tomorrow (Monday) morning in 29° Sagittarius.  She swiftly moves into Capricorn at 4:55 am, where she will remain until early Wednesday afternoon.  Sag is the adventurous archer, giving the moment of the Full Moon a magical and free-spirited flavor.  But Luna in Capricorn takes a grounded approach to the larger magic of Litha and the Mutable Grand Cross.  Capricorn wants to be on the ground, fixing what needs to be fixed and plowing forward.  The Goat thrives off hard work, and she could care less about your fantasies unless they relate to a tangible, structural reward.  As the cardinal earth sign, Capricorn initiates action, but she also brings us back into the body.  Working out, sex, conscious eating and bodywork are always wonderful things to do, and even more so with Luna releasing her fullness in Capricorn.

The planetary energy is culminating in a very beautiful way at this time.

Now, beautiful does not necessarily mean easy – this is also a time of great upheaval and change, but those of us who are ready and willing to ride the waves of change will find that there is truly a power of goodness that is kneading us like dough, working out all our knots and stuck places.  We see this on an individual scale and a collective scale.  We are bumping right up against the structures that are no longer working, AND we are being called to let down our guard.  Let your transformation occur.  YOU hold the keys to universal change.  There is no martyrdom in that – this is like the opposite of heavy.  Despite how outrageous, gross, heavy, difficult and uncool things may seem – the solution is your freedom.  The cornerstone of collective growth, collective healing and collective awakening is YOUR FREEDOM.  I’m not talking 2nd Amendment freedom (haha, ugh) – I’m talking about your complete liberation from anything and everything that keeps you from seeing YOURSELF as wholly divine.

THAT freedom.

Blessed Be.

Luna at 10 pm PDT on 6.18.16 near Seattle, WA USA

Michael shares images of Luna with me often and with such grace.

Full Moon in Sagittarius

Hello Moonbabies ~ it feels like much time since my last writing to you!

I’ve been rooting and feeling into many changes and realizations in the past weeks.  The Mars retrograde seems to be affecting me in a major way, which makes sense since he is traveling backward in Sagittarius, which rules my 7th house of intimate relationships…..Mars is a strong influence, guys!

So it’s interesting that today at 2:14pm PDT, La Luna releases her fullness VERY close to Mars in Sagittarius – they will be less than one degree apart, a pretty tight conjunction.  This also means that BOTH the Moon and Mars will be opposite our Sun – therefore, the Sun will be spotlighting/drawing attention to both the receptive nature of the Moon and to the very exertive nature of Mars.  They will quickly draw themselves into a complete conjunction and cross paths in opposite directions (Mars slides back into Scorpio next Friday the 27th, but that’s another story).

We are being called to look at the yin and the yang of it all!  The feeling, emotional, empathic side of ourselves.  The active, aggressive, decisive and desirous places in us.  These two can merge, these two can cross paths, these two can MAYBE even understand each other.

This is all happening in very beginning of Sagittarius (between 1-2 degrees), and this gives this conjunction a very fun, lively, free-spirited flavor.  Sag is the Archer, the adventurer, the activated dreamer.  He is kind and playful, youthful, brave and very optimistic.  He is ruled by Jupiter; so how can he not bring good fortune!  He can help us put our hopes into action, he can help us begin with fresh eyes and a clean heart, he can remind us that there is always more light if we but reach for it.  In fact, Sag will often ask us to have faith, to trust and to believe.  He himself is a satyr (a magical creature, half-man/half-goat), also he is often depicted as a centaur (half-man/half-horse, but that is actually Chiron the wounded-warrior).  The point is, Sag is a magical creature – and he can support us in experiencing our own special brand of magic(k).

Ok, aside from this very enchanting Full Moon with Mars conjunction, some other notable heavenly happenings include:

  • Sun in Gemini! – as of yesterday (Friday) at 7:36am PDT.  Gemini is the intellectual, the Twins, the mind discovering all the patterns that make life so interesting.  Gemini is fascinated by puzzles, riddles, solving mysteries.  Gemini is eternally curious, talkative and has an insatiable brain.  Gemini is sometimes accused of being superficial, or even two-faced, but if you really know Gemini you see how egoless this androgynous sign is.  Gemini looks at the BIG picture, and its inquisitive nature is much more interested in facts than dreams.  The Twins are naturally playful, though, so this can be a very social time while the Sun travels here.  Gemini wants to put ducks in a row and make sense of things, but not at the expense of enjoying the process.
  • Mercury Direct! – tomorrow (Sunday) at 6:20am PDT.  Remember, speedy Mercury goes retrograde 3-4 times/year – it’s not this incredibly rare and exciting thing.  But definitely pay attention to the junctions when “it” (Mercury is androgynous, like Gemini which it rules) stations retrograde or stations direct.  So don’t be surprised if lines of communication DO get mixed up or go haywire in the next few days – Mercury is flipping itself around right now!

I will say that I love Mercury is spending extra time in Taurus because of this retrograde.  Taurus is all about the body, sensuality, the Earth, creating roots, experiencing pleasure and finding value in the physical world.  This could lead to a tendency to want to buy things and find value in materialism, but we can also channel this energy directly into our bodies, slowing down, finding a pace that is in rhythm with the deeper energy of the Earth.  Taurus is ruled by the lovely Venus, who herself is residing in the sign of the Bull until this coming Tuesday, so let the Taurus energy really love you up for the next couple of days – it could be fun 🙂

That’s all for now my darlings!  I’m off to yoga and to empty my brain!

Take what you like and leave the rest, with all of this.

~xo~

Full Moon in Virgo

We’ve been having a waxing Leo Moon weekend – big, exuberant energy that is potentially excessive and prone to indulging.  When La Luna is reaching fullness, as she ripens, she is lending us the magic of the sign she is transiting.  In Leo, she is sensual, illuminated and self-oriented.  Now is the time to love yourself up to maximum capacity.

La Luna is almost directly across from the Sun at this time, who is sharing the waters of Pisces with Neptune.  The Sun is newly in Pisces as of 3 days ago, and we are opening ourselves up to a time of increased sensitivity, caring and feeling.  The Sun is shining light on the area of your chart ruled by Pisces, so that house in particular is going to experience the “spotlight” with this solar transit.  Pisces rules my 10th house of career, outer identity and reputation – which also happens to be where my Moon dwells.  No wonder I am obsessed with writing about the Moon!

Neptune has been in Pisces since 2012 and will continue to travel in her waters until 2025.  Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces and he is all about spiritual transformation.  Traditionally Pisces was ruled by Jupiter, which is probably why so many Piscean people have huge hearts are natural givers.  Neptune in Pisces can be prone to fantasy and escapism, but he is also extremely creative and clairvoyant.  Neptune in Pisces is the natural musician, and this 13-year stretch could speak to a time when a new generation of incredible musicians and sound-healers are being born.

La Luna is creeping up on a little square to Mars that is exact at 5:17pm PST today, and then she makes no other aspects (she is void) until she enters Virgo at 3:24am tomorrow.  Moon square Mars can bring up feelings of opposition and conflict, or emotions like anger and resentment.  Mars is in secretive waters of Scorpio these days (until March 5th) and he is digging in the depths of our desires.  Let that which arises, arise.  The thing we are guaranteed is change.

The full Moon in Virgo is exact at 10:20am tomorrow, Monday.  Virgo rules the 6th House of health, work and service.  She is grounded, logical and efficient.  Jupiter and the North Node are both planted in Virgo for quite some time, so as the Moon passes through Virgo she is also supported by the planet of benevolence and good fortune (Jupiter) as well as the aspect that speaks to destiny and life-purpose (North Node).  Now is the time to get real, folks.

March will be full of eclipses (total Solar eclipse on March 8th and Lunar eclipse on March 23rd).  Eclipses bring change and opportunity.  They can be pretty intense for some of us.

Anchor yourself at this time.  Compassion towards self and others will be a golden key that you are being invited to use as the power of transformation surrounds us during eclipse season.

Blessings and Peace.
